Month in Pictures: March 2016

A theme I notice in March's month in pictures is service. Yes, some of the pictures are from the Saint Meinrad Day of Service, where people intentionally took time out of their day to serve others, but not all the photos are from the Day of Service.

The other pictures are from events in the seminary: a Lenten retreat for the local Knights of Columbus, the priesthood promises ceremony and Song of Shadows schola concert.

In all of these pictures, people are stepping up to serve their classmates, people in their communities, the Church and God.

By serving one another, we can live out our Christian faith. As Fr. Denis Robinson, OSB, said in the Day of Service promotional video, "We cannot be authentically Christian without serving one another."

Pictures this month were taken by Minh Vu, Br. Lorenzo Peñalosa, OSB, Christian Mocek and Krista Hall.
