Digital Marketing & Web Administrator

Introduction

The Digital Marketing Administrator is responsible for overseeing the digital presence and promotions of the retail entities at Saint Meinrad Archabbey. This includes websites, CRM management, online campaigns, and other digital-based marketing. This position must have a strong understanding of how marketing and technology can be combined to accomplish the goals of each entity.



Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of, including but not limited to, Saint Meinrad Archabbey Gift Shop, Abbey Caskets, Abbey Woodworking, CareNotes and Peanut Brother Wordpress websites
  • Monitor and modify sites as needed to ensure they are performing as expected; troubleshoot technical issues and work closely with appropriate personnel to implement solutions
  • Work with Directors to update product data and images on websites
  • Responsible for creating various marketing source codes to coincide with planned promotions
  • Gather, create, and manage contact lists using CRM software (Agile)
  • Gather and analyze sales data from various online marketing campaigns, produce reports and monitor site activity
  • Create and maintain Google Ads campaigns for each retail entity
  • Manage SEO for each entity to produce best organic and paid search results
  • Research and present new technology as required to service online needs


Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience with a strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices
  • Expertise in WordPress front and back-end development, PHP, MYSQL, HTML, CSS and Javascript required
  • Understanding of web architecture, including HTTPS servers, DNS routing and management, databases (SQL), and misc. hosting platforms, is beneficial
  • Significant knowledge of and experience in Google Analytics and Google Ads
  • Proficient at analyzing complex data and metrics and interpreting actionable insights
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • CRM experience (Agile) is a plus
  • Knowledge of social media applications
