Introduction

Show off your passion for cooking while preparing and serving delicious meals to the monks, seminarians, and guests of Saint Meinrad. 

This role would work as part of a team, follow safety and sanitation guidelines, and ensure the kitchen is ready for scheduled serving times.



Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Gather food items and supplies.
  • Prepares and cooks meals according to recipes.
  • Consolidates leftover food and prepares leftover items.
  • Covers, dates, labels, and stores all foods.
  • Set up serving lines.
  • Cleans steamers, fryers, kettles, ovens, and all prep work area.


Experience & Qualifications

  • Team player
  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Willing to train the right person
