The Leaven of Christ: That in All Things God May be Glorified!

Wednesday, April 17, 2019 - Sunday, April 21, 2019
Location: Archabbey Guest House and Retreat Center
Session Faculty: Fr. Adrian Burke, OSB

(Holy Week Retreat) – In the Gospel of Luke we read: To what can I compare the kingdom of God? It is like yeast that a woman mixed into three measures of flour until all of it was leavened. We are called and sent by Jesus to be leaven in a world needing to be raised up. The light we bear is that of the Gospel, the Word of God dwelling in us by the Holy Spirit. That light is not meant to be buried or concealed, but to radiate and lift up a world darkened by division, violence and injustice. Conferences will reflect on the practical means by which Christians participate in Christ by doing the hard work of reconciling and healing. We participate in his mission to give birth to a new creation conformed to God’s Love – the Kingdom of God. ($465 single, $735 double)
