Liturgical Manuscripts in Person

Saturday January 20

Leading scholars from the University of Notre Dame, Columbia University, Indiana University and beyond will present their findings on liturgical manuscripts in the Saint Meinrad Rare Books and Manuscript collection, including a 15th-century Book of Hours that was discovered in a parish attic and may have been brought over from France by the founding bishop of Vincennes, Simon Bruté. Come discover what other buried treasures are around us with true experts in their fields. This event is free and open to the public.

The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. on the lower level of the library and run until 4:30 p.m. There will be a reception in the evening for those who can stay.

Join us and stay for the winter chant workshop beginning January 22!
