What assumptions do we make about others based on their race and cultural background and, more importantly, why do we make them? How do these assumptions affect our behavior in an unconscious manner and impact our ability to successfully manage intercultural interactions and diverse ministry environments? This workshop will provide a safe place to engage in deep dialogue about the uncomfortable issues of race and ethnic prejudice. Understanding how cultural and historical experiences impact our worldview can lead us to a greater understanding of others and on the path toward integration.
