Family life can easily get busy and chaotic. Grounded in the Rule of Saint Benedict, Josh and Angie, along with their children Nate and Lucy, will break open some ways they keep obedience, stability, and kindness, rooted in their daily lives. When the home is a place of peace and comfort, it becomes a shelter for the family that is life-giving and restorative. Building a domestic church takes prayer, strategy, and practice. Tangible examples of how to pray together, how to apologize and forgive, what takes priority on the calendar, having intentional quiet times and developing a monthly/yearly family mission statement are just some of the tools that will be touched upon. Parents with children, ages 8+, are welcome. Be prepared to participate and take notes during this interactive session. Workshop 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Central Time, includes lunch.
