Monday, October 13, 2025 - Friday, October 17, 2025
Location: Archabbey Guest House & Retreat Center
Session Faculty: Fr. Eugene Hensell, OSB

Priests Retreat

The gospel of John contains material that was used by the early Christians to proclaim what faith in Jesus Christ implied. Much of this material was presented in the form of “story.” Story was found to be a very effective way to communicate the important dynamics of faith. This retreat will focus on a number of those stories: The Prologue to the Gospel of John; Jesus Meets the Woman at the Well; Jesus Feeds 5000 People; Jesus Encounters the Man Born Blind: Jesus Raises Lazarus from the Dead; Jesus Washes the Feet of the Disciples; Jesus Appears to the Disciples and Thomas After He Has Been Raised from the Dead.
